So Long Trail Maps
Trail maps are great when you are visiting a new resort and you don’t know your way around, but opening one in the wind and trying to get the stupid thing folded back up can be a little annoying. iTrailMap is an iPod Touch/iPhone app that will allow you download a trial map of the Ski / Snowboard Resort you want to ride. You can pan and zoom the whole map just like Google Maps.
Pros: Easy to use, many maps to download, can be used without internet connectivity or phone service
Cons: Some of the maps when zoomed in are blurry and hard to read, can’t be used with my glove on
